Journal: Why do you think your hometown was built where it is?

In Class: Today we talked about what made something a civilization.... think geographic features ie. near water, mountains, temp (growing) etc.  We filled out your Ancient Sumer Notes in your packet.  If you were absent you can find the PowerPoint under the Unit 1 tab :)

Homework: If you haven't brought me your disclosure yet, get it to me ASAP

Journal: If you could go back in time and be a part of any event what would it be and why?

In Class: Today we learned about Pre-History and what makes something a Civilization--- we filled out the 'Pre-History' section in your notes and 'Create a Civilization'.  If you were absent, you will need to use the PowerPoint to fill in your note guide :)

Homework: Finish the 'Create a Civilization' page in your packet & get your disclosure document turned into me!

Today we went over class rules/expectations. If you were absent, come see me and I will get you a disclosure document for you and your parent to sign--- it will be due Next Wednesday the 27th!!!

Today we had a 'make-up day'.  Your grades are up to date... aside from your projects which are due Thursday!!!! If you won't be here Thursday you MUST turn it in beforehand!!!!
