Today in class: We reviewed the Crusades chart (use PowerPoint day 2 if you need some help).   If you were a serf, you took a quiz for your kingdom..... if you were absent, come in during intervention so that you can make this quiz up.
We filled out the Renaissance notes and did the gallery walk; use the Renaissance PowerPoint (the 2nd Renaissance PowerPoint has the pictures, or you can look them up online)

In class: Today we finished up your packets (section 5) you can find this in the PowerPoint for day 3. You also started the 'Roman Times' assignment.  This along with your packets, journals, and current events will be due next class period.

In class: We filled out section 4 of your notes (Fall of Rome)- you can find this under PowerPoint 3, and performed Shakespeares' play 'Julius Caesar'; if you were absent or did not participate you will need to turn in one paragraph, explaining the death of Julius Caesar.  REMEMBER: a paragraph is 5-7 sentences.

Journal: Why are religious groups prosecuted? What are some examples of this persecution?

In class: We took notes on Section 3 of your note guide (Use PP3) and watch a documentary on Christianity, while watching you were to write down 25 things that you learned.  If you were absent, you can find the documentary here: ( you may have to watch more than 1 section)

Journal: KWL chart.  Fill out first 2 sections- tell me everything you KNOW about Rome and tell me what you WANT to know about Rome.

In class: You received the new packet for Rome, and filled out section 1 of your notes, as well as learning target number 1!
